Carson, Calif. (Friday, March 23, 2012) -The sixth edition of the premier nationally televised search for soccer's top young undiscovered talent, Sueño MLS - presented by Allstate, returns this Sunday, March 25, to Univision Network's popular weekly sports entertainment program, "República Deportiva" (Sports Republic), when special guest, MLS Argentine legend Guillermo Barros Schelotto, reveals the 2012 host cities, and details on tryout dates and registration.
Sueño MLS - presented by Allstate has already discovered several standouts, including first-year winner Jorge Villafaña (formerly Jorge Flores), now a professional player with Chivas USA and a member of the U.S. Under-23 Team, and 2008 Dallas winner Gabriel Funes Mori, who stars for River Plate in Argentina.
"It seems like it was yesterday but in fact I won the opportunity in 2007 and since then, my life has changed for the better" said Villafaña, "Thanks to Sueño MLS I have traveled around the world, play for Chivas USA in MLS, and proudly represent the US through its National Teams."
Returning to Sueño MLS for 2012 is the Allstate "Good Handsé" top goalkeeper award - El Portero Allstate, which will be awarded to the top goalkeeper in the competition under the guidance of Mexican legend Adolfo Rios.
