Houston Dynamo to Host First Soccer Night out of 2012 Presented by Statoil on March 26

HOUSTON (Friday, March 23, 2012) - The Houston Dynamo and Statoil will host the first Soccer Night Out of the year on March 26 at Houston Amateur Sports Park. The event will feature a scrimmage between the Houston Dynamo Academy and the Stavanger of Norway All-Stars at 6 p.m.

The Stavanger of Norway All-Stars are part of the Houston/Galveston-Stavanger Sister City Society youth exchange program. In total, there are 63 youth staying with host families and will participate in a variety of programs in Houston and Galveston from March 21-28.

Dynamo All-Stars Brad Davis and Tally Hall will be on hand at HASP to sign autographs and interact with fans.

Team mascot Dynamo Diesel and the Dynamo Girls will also be on hand. The event will include pick-up soccer games, an inflatable soccer field, music, face-painting, curb games, a mobile gaming unit, a caricature artist, spin artists, balloon artists, and a raffle for Dynamo prizes. All activities are free and open to the public.

Additionally, the first 300 children in attendance will receive a Statoil Soccer Night Out T-shirt.
