San Diego Gulls Announce Second Annual Salute to Heroes Ticket Program

SAN DIEGO - The San Diego Gulls announced today that the American Hockey League (AHL) club has launched its second annual Salute to Heroes ticket donation program to benefit San Diego military members, both past and present, and their families as part of the Gulls' Military Weekend, Nov. 11-12 vs. the Manitoba Moose at Valley View Casino Center.

The San Diego Gulls are partnering with both corporate and individual sponsors to provide thousands of free tickets for the Salute to Heroes game on Nov. 12 (7 p.m.) to active duty military members, veterans and their families. All sponsored tickets will be distributed by the Gulls in partnership with local military entities, including Navy Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR), Marine Corps Community Services, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, and others. As a special thank you for their contribution and dedication to supporting our military, each sponsor will be given a gift from the Gulls.

The below ticket sponsorship packages are currently available to corporate partners and fans. All tickets will be provided to members of the military and their families, with a special gift for the sponsor.

* Red Package: $150 * 10 tickets * Receive a commemorative photo * White Package: $600 * 40 tickets * Receive an autographed Gulls puck * Blue Package: $1,200 * 80 tickets * Receive an autographed Gulls stick * Platinum Package: $3,000 * 200 tickets * Receive an autographed game-worn Gulls jersey from Military Weekend

Gifts are available on a limited basis, and the deadline to donate is Tuesday, Nov. 8. Please visit for more information, to become a sponsor or to provide tickets directly to military members.

Tickets from both of San Diego's Military Weekend games (Nov. 11-12) can be redeemed for free entry (limit one ticket per person) to the USS Midway Museum from Nov. 13 through Dec. 31, 2016.
