Ottawa Senators Recall Goaltender Chris Driedger

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The Ottawa Senators have recalled goaltender Chris Driedger from the Binghamton Senators on an emergency basis to replace Craig Anderson. Driedger, 22, has a 1-0-1 record with a 0.96 goals-against average and .961 save percentage in two games with the B-Sens this season. A native of Winnipeg, Man., Driedger recorded a shutout on opening night, 3-0, over the defending Eastern Conference Champion Hershey Bears. Driedger's only loss came in a shootout, 3-2, to the Albany Devils. The 6-foot-4, 205-pound goaltender will replace Craig Anderson who was granted a leave of absence by Ottawa to attend to a personal matter at home. The B-Sens continue a busy week at home on Friday, October 28, to battle the Syracuse Crunch at 7:05 p.m. The following night, Binghamton hits the road to take on the Hershey Bears at 7:00 p.m. Affordable ticket packages for the 2016-17 season of Binghamton Senators hockey are on sale now!
