CINCINNATI, Ohio - The Cincinnati Cyclones, proud affiliate of the NHL's Florida Panthers and Nashville Predators announced today that the San Antonio Rampage of the American Hockey League has recalled forward John McFarland and defenseman Brian O'Hanley. In a separate transaction, the Cyclones have signed defenseman Jeff Winchester.
McFarland, Florida's second round pick in 2010, has been one of Cincinnati's most dangerous offensive weapons this season. Collectively, O'Hanley has played in 63 AHL games and has notched 14 points.
Winchester joins the Cyclones after starting the year in the Federal Hockey League (FHL). Last year's FHL Most Valuable Player has collected 51 points (13 goals, 38 assists) in 28 games so far with the Williamsport Outlaws this season. The 31-year-old defenseman has been well traveled over the years, playing in the ECHL, SPHL, CHL, FHL, and overseas.
