THIS WEEK'S GAMES
Tuesday, Feb. 10 at Texas Stars
Cedar Park Center, 7:30 p.m.
The Rampage kick off the Rodeo Road Trip with a visit to the Cedar Park Cen- ter for the second to last time this season. This will be the fourth game against the Stars out of the Rampage's last six games. They have gone 6-2-0-0 in this season's series so far. San Antonio has only suffered one loss at Cedar Park Center this year, a 6-3 decision on Dec. 28.
Friday, Feb. 13 at Grand Rapids Griffins
Van Andel Arena, 6:00 p.m.
The Silver & Black face the Grand Rapids Griffins for the first game this season and the first at Van Andel Arena, playing their second opponent of the Rodeo Road Trip. The Griffins are just three points behind the Rampage in the West- ern Conference. They sit in third place in the Midwest Division.
Saturday, Feb. 14 at Grand Rapids Griffins
Van Andel Arena, 6:00 p.m.
San Antonio plays a Valentine's Day special and the last game at Van Andel Arena of the season against the Griffins. These two teams will not meet again until a back-to-back weekend on April 10-11 in the Alamo City.
Sunday, Feb. 15 at Rockford IceHogs
BMO Harris Bank Center, 4:00 p.m.
The Rampage take on the IceHogs for the third time this year and first at BMO Harris Bank Center after dropping the first two decisions against Rockford at the AT&T Center on Oct. 31 and Nov. 1. The IceHogs are second in the Mid- west Division and fifth in the conference, tied with San Antonio with 58 points.
Rodeo Road Trip
Feb. 18-Feb. 22
The Rampage stay in Rockford to take on the IceHogs again Wednesday morning with puck drop slated for 10:30 a.m. Enjoy a game of hockey with eggs and coffee! San Antonio then heads to Chicago to play Assistant Coach Scott Allen's former team, the Wolves, for another back-to-back weekend. Saturday night's game is set for 7:00 p.m. but Sunday's game will be an afternoon matinee starting at 3:00 p.m.
PINK IN THE RINK WRAP UP: Pink in the Rink 2015 was a huge success and the Rampage beat the Barons 5-3 on pink ice Saturday night in front of 13,125 at the AT&T Center. To kick off Pink Week, 100 plus cancer survivors and their families broke in the freshly painted pink ice on Monday night, followed by T-Bone surprising area breast cancer survivors at work with gift bags on Tuesday. The "golden puck" fundraiser at both the Spurs game Wednesday and at the Rampage game Thursday raised a total of $2,840 for the Children's Hospital of San Antonio cancer program.
Four survivors enjoyed a makeover at Pure Posh Salon on Friday. The jersey auction was also a huge hit and raised a total of $40,550 for breast cancer awareness and research efforts.
RECENT TRANSACTIONS: The Rampage recalled defenseman Shayne Taker from the Cincinnati Cyclones (ECHL) on Tuesday for the first time this season.
ICE CHIPS: Brett Olson - Rampage Center
Brett Olson was a big part of the Rampage's 5-3 comeback win on Pink in the Rink night finishing with a goal and two assists for his first three point game of the season. The 6-0, 185 pound center is in his first full season with the Rampage after being signed to a one-year contract with the Florida Panthers on July 4, 2014 and in his third pro- fessional season after spending the previous two years with the Ab- botsford Heat (AHL). Olson has played in 46 games this season putting up seven goals, 20 assists and is a team-high +11.
