San Antonio Rampage News Release
THIS WEEK'S GAMES
Friday, Jan. 29 vs. San Jose Barracuda
AT&T Center, 7:30 p.m. (CT)
The Rampage host the San Jose Barracuda in the AT&T Center for the first time in franchise history. Friday's contest will be the third time these two teams have seen each other this season. After dropping the first game 6-4, the Rampage shutout the Barracuda and won the second contest 1-0.
Saturday, Jan. 30 vs. San Jose Barracuda
AT&T Center, 7:00 p.m. (CT)
Saturday's game will conclude the back-to-back with the Barracuda, leav- ing the Rampage with one remaining home game until they leave for their annual Rodeo Road Trip. Before San Jose visits the Alamo City, the Barracuda have a showdown with the Texas Stars on Wednesday night.
Rampage winger, Reid Petryk, has found success in his two games against San Jose. He has registered one game-winning overtime goal, and three assists.
WEEKEND STATS: The Rampage hosted their first 3-in-3 last weekend, providing a handful of new statistics for career firsts and season-highs. One night after Reid Petryk replaced Mikko Rantanen for the fastest two goals scored by one player (2:54), Rantanen shattered Petryk's time by 54 seconds when he landed his first North American professional hat trick late in the third period. This is the first Rampage hat trick since Joey Crabb netted three goals against the Utica Comets on Feb. 26, 2014. Saturday's contest was the second consecutive game where the Rampage have recorded two unassisted goals. San Antonio also registered two power play goals for the first time since Dec. 29 when the Rampage fell to the Stars 5-4 in the Cedar Park Center.
THE FORT WAYNE IMPACT: San Antonio had two newer faces skating in a silver and black sweater this past week, wingers Alex Belzile and Garrett Thompson. Thompson, who was recalled from the Fort Wayne Komets on Jan. 18, found the back of the net on Friday against Bakersfield for his first goal as a Rampage player. Thompson has also recorded a +1 plus/minus rating in his four appearances. Since his second recall by San Antonio, Belzile has made an impact for his squad tallying two goals and one assists in his five games played. His second goal, against the Bakersfield Condors, served as the Rampage's game-winner as the Rampage went on to win 6-1 and end their 13-game home winless streak.

Save the date as the Rampage will host their annual Pink in the Rink game when the Texas Stars visit the AT&T Center for the fifth time this season.
ICE CHIPS: Mikko Rantanen - Rampage Forward
The Finnish forward recorded his first North American profession- al hat-trick against the Bakersfield Condors on Jan. 23. Rantanen continues to dominate on the ice setting season-highs in most goals in a game (3), most points in one game (4), fastest two goals scored by one player (2:00), and is currently tied for the longest points streak (8 games) this season with Colin Smith.
Rantanen's points streak dates back to Dec. 13, 2015 and he has recorded five goals and five assists along the way. Midway through his streak, Rantanen took leave from the Rampage and captained the Finland National Team to a gold medal in his home country in the IIHF World Junior Championship.
