THIS WEEK'S GAMES
Tuesday, Dec. 29 at Texas Stars
Cedar Park Center, 7:00 p.m. (CT)
The Rampage head back to Cedar Park to finish their three-game stint with the Texas Stars. Tuesday's contest will be the last time the Lone Star State rivals faceoff until Jan. 24, 2016. San Antonio has posted a 4-3-1-0 record against the Stars this season, outscoring them 28-27 in the eight contests. There will be five more outings between the two teams following Tuesday's contest.
Friday, Jan. 1 vs. San Deigo Gulls
AT&T Center, 7:30 p.m. (CT)
The Rampage take on the San Diego Gulls for a New Year's Day contest. The two teams have met once this season, with San Diego winning 3-2 in overtime on Nov. 3. Friday's game marks the first time that the Gulls have ever skated in the AT&T Center, and will be the first-of-three contests held in San Antonio.
Sunday, Jan. 3 vs. San Diego Gulls
AT&T Center 4:00 p.m. (CT)
The Gulls return to the AT&T Center to wrap up the two-game series in the Alamo City. The Gulls and Rampage are in a tight race for second place in the Pacific Division with San Diego recording a .574 win-percentage and San Antonio posting a .548 win-percentage.
DIVISION BATTLES: After playing seven games against the Central Division in De- cember San Antonio's next 15-of-17 games will be played against Pacific Division oppo- nents, including one game against the Heat, three games each against the San Diego Gulls and Bakersfield Condors and four contests with the San Jose Sharks and the Texas Stars The Silver and Black are 8-4-3-0 against their division this season.
ROAD WARRIORS: The Rampage boast one of the best road records in the AHL at 10-4-3-0. Their 23 points earned away from the AT&T Center is ranked third in the league for points earned on the road.
ICE CHIPS: Nikita Zadorov - Rampage Defenseman
Nikita Zadorov, 20, has been an effective force on both sides of the puck for the Rampage the past two weeks. Zadorov has bagged three goals and two assists in this his last five games, while recording one game-winning goal and multiple-point game (1G, 2A). The Rampage defenseman has also posted a +2 plus/minus rating since Dec. 17 against the Manitoba Moose. After 78 appearances in the National Hockey League, this is the first American Hockey League season for Zadorov. The Moscow native has recorded seven goals and eight assists in 22 outings with the Silver and Black.
UPCOMING EVENTS
January 16, 2016 vs. Milwaukee 7 p.m.
The Girls Scouts of South West Texas take over the AT&T Center as the Rampage host Girl Scout Night against the Milwaukee Admirals. The Girl Scouts will hold their annual Cookie Rally and participate in in- game activities, while the Rampage wear a signature Girl Scout-themed sweater. Come join the fun at the AT&T Center and support our local Girl Scouts on Jan. 16, 2016.
