Bakersfield Condors Goaltender Eetu Laurikainen

CONDORSTOWN, Calif. - The Bakersfield Condors announced today that the team has been assigned winger Zack Kassian by the Edmonton Oilers. Kassian was acquired earlier today from the Montreal Canadiens by the Oilers in exchange for G Ben Scrivens.
In a separate transaction, G Eetu Laurikainen was recalled by the Oilers from his loan with HPK of the Finnish Elite League and assigned to Bakersfield.
KASSIAN ( 24 years old, 6'3", 214 lbs., Windsor, Ontario)
Acquired by the Oilers earlier today from the Montreal Canadiens for G Ben Scrivens
Has appeared in 198 career NHL games with Buffalo and Vancouver with 66 points (35g-31a) and 307 penalty minutes
Was an American Hockey League All-Star selection as a rookie in 2011-12 with the Rochester Americans posting 26 points (15g-11a) in 30 games
Won a Memorial Cup in 2010 with the Windsor Spitfires where he was a teammate of current Oiler Taylor Hall
Selected in the first round (13th overall) by the Buffalo Sabres of the 2010 NHL Draft
LAURIKAINEN ( 22 years old, 6'0", 185 lbs., Jyveskyla, Finland)
Appeared in eight games with HPK in the Finnish Elite League after being loaned by the Oilers
Held a record of 3-5-0 with a 2.16 goals-against average and a .920 save percentage with one shutout
Played one game for the Condors earlier this season on October 17 against San Jose making 18 saves on 22 shots in a 4-3 loss
Played last season with Espoo in the Finnish Elite League with a record of 17-10-9, a 2.10 GAA, and a .933 save percentage with four shutouts
Spent two seasons in the Western Hockey League (WHL) with Swift Current
