THIS WEEK'S GAMES
Friday, November 29 vs Oklahoma City Barons
AT&T Center, 7:30 p.m.
The Rampage wrap up the 13-game month of November this weekend with a home-and-home series against the Oklahoma City Barons. Fri- day's game marks the Rampage's first-ever "Movember Night" in which the club will try and break the world record for most fake mustaches at a sporting event. Friday's tilt also marks a KZEP / Bud Light Dollar Drink Night at the AT&T Center. On the ice, the Rampage and Barons will be squaring off for the sixth time already this season, with San Antonio holding a 3-2-0-0 edge in the 12-game series against their divisional foe.
The Barons will only make one more trip to the Alamo City this season on Jan. 3 for the first leg of another home-and-home weekend.
Saturday, November 30 at Oklahoma City Barons
Cox Convention Center 7:00 p.m.
The Rampage claimed a 6-1 win over the Barons in the last meeting between the two clubs on Tuesday in San Antonio's fourth-annual "Cool School Education" game. Six different Rampage players lit the lamp in the victory and rookie Vincent Trocheck led the way with a goal and two assists. Trocheck leads the Rampage with five goals and four assists in five games against the Barons this season. Trocheck's linemate Bobby Butler isn't far behind, recording four goals and two assists in five games. San Antonio's power play has cashed in during all five games against the Barons this season, going 5-for-27 (18.5%). The Barons have alternated wins and loss in their last nine games (4-4-0-1).
MOVEMBER NIGHT - Friday, Nov. 29 Several Rampage players have joined the "Movember" cause and have sported mustaches throughout the month of November to raise funds and awareness for cancers that affect men. The month- long initiative culminates with the team's first-ever "Movember Night" on Friday at 7:30 p.m. when the Rampage take on the Oklahoma City Barons at AT&T Center. The Rampage will be giving away 5,000 fake mustaches to fans in attendance in hopes of breaking the world record for the most mustaches at a sporting event. The game will also feature a Beard & Mustache competition and fans are encouraged to submit photos of their own mustaches to the club's Facebook page or by tagging @sarampage on Twitter or Instagram.
Fans can also donate to the cause by logging on to the team's "Movember" profile here.
WEEK IN REVIEW: The Rampage claimed victories in two out of three games this week, stomping Oklahoma City on Tuesday, 6-1, before a record crowd of 12,127 in the team's "Cool School Education" game and sneaking past the Texas Stars, 4-3, in a shootout on Friday night at Cedar Park Center. The Rampage dropped a 4-2 decision to Toronto at home on Sunday to snap a five-game winning streak at AT&T Center.
ROAD WARRIORS: The Rampage open up a treacherous travel schedule throughout the month of December this weekend. The club will play eight of their next 12 games on the road leading up to the Christmas break, which includes the team's final trip of the season to Abbotsford (Dec. 6-7).
FIRE AWAY: The Rampage continue to pepper opposing netminders and remain in sec- ond in the league in shots per game, averaging 35.32. San Antonio has outshot their oppo- sition in nine of their last 12 games and has reached the 30-shot plateau in eight straight.
MATSUMOTO'S RESCUES: Rampage fans brought nearly 200 pet supply items to Sun- day's game as a part of the "Matsumoto's Rescues" program and the collection drive has raised more than 500 items to be donated to help stray animals in San Antonio.
