MANCHESTER, NH - The Manchester Monarchs, the primary affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings, have released center Mike Ullrich from his professional tryout agreement, Monarchs Director of Hockey Operations Hubie McDonough announced on Monday.
Ullrich, 27, registered one point (1-01) in three games with the Monarchs this season. Prior to joining the Monarchs, Ullrich had collected 14 points (4-1014) and seven penalty minutes in 14 games with the ECHL's Orlando Solar Bears this season. The 6-foot-2, 198-pound native of Banff, Alberta, split the 2012-13 season between the Central Hockey League's Tulsa Oilers and the ECHL's Trenton Titans. Ullrich collected 29 points (15-1429) and 26 penalty minutes in 26 games with the Titans, and 19 points (7-1219) and 36 penalty minutes in 29 games with the Oilers.
