Salt Lake Wins Series against Sacramento 4-2

The Salt Lake Bees scored four runs in the seventh inning for a come from behind 4-2 win over the Sacramento River Cats on Sunday afternoon. Sacramento had taken a 2-0 lead in the bottom of the sixth, but Dillon Thomas started the rally with a one out single. David MacKinnon walked and both runners moved up on a passed ball before Jo Adell walked with ball four being a wild pitch to score Thomas. Kean Wong followed with a single to right field to bring home MacKinnon with the tying run. Monte Harrison walked to load the bases and Jake Gatewood put the Bees in front with a line drive single to center. Austin Romine closed out the scoring with a ground out.

Salt Lake starter Davis Daniel (2-1) went six and two-third innings for the win, as he allowed just two runs on five hits with four strikeouts and one walk for his fourth quality start of the season. Elvis Peguero and Gerardo Reyes shut down the River Cats over the final two and one-third innings with Reyes working a three up, three down ninth inning for his first save of the season. The victory gave the Bees a 4-2 series win, their second road series win of the season.
