Saints Eben Yager to Take Helm in Hudson Valley

ST. PAUL, MN (August 20, 2007) - After five seasons of hard work and dedication to his position with the St. Paul Saints, Assistant General Manager Eben Yager will take over as the General Manager of the Hudson Valley Renegades. Saints Director of Sales and Marketing, Dan Lehv, will take over as the new Assistant GM of the Saints.

The 30-year-old Yager began his tenure with the Saints in 2003 as the Director of Ticket Sales for two seasons and stepped into the Assistant GM spot from 2005 until the present. In that role Yager has been responsible for overseeing ticket sales, website, new technology ventures such as cell phone video and tickets as well as corporate sales.

"I've been very fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with Eben these past four years," said Saints Executive Vice President and General Manager Derek Sharrer. "He's a creative thinker with an incredible work ethic but, most importantly, he's a leader. While he'll be missed here in St. Paul I'm confident he'll be a tremendous asset in Hudson Valley."

Yager began his time in baseball with the Tampa Bay Devil Rays from 2000-01 as a Senior Account Executive. He moved to the Portland Beavers in 2002 as Director of Ticket Sales and Operations.

"My family and I are certainly going to miss Minnesota," said Yager. "We have made many great friendships within the community and the fans at Midway are second to none. I am very excited about this new opportunity and challenge with Hudson Valley and can't thank the Goldklang Group enough.

Yager will take over his new post at the beginning of October replacing Dave Burke, who will be the GM of the new team in the American Association, the Grand Prairie Air Hogs. Burke will bring over 16 years of sales and baseball management experience including time with the Fort Myers Miracle, a Goldklang Group owned team.

The Renegades, Saints and Miracle are owned and operated by the Goldklang Group, who also represent the Charleston River Dogs, Sioux Falls Canaries and Brockton Rox. The Goldklang Group is headed up by Chairman Marv Goldklang and President Mike Veeck.

The 27-year-old Lehv started with the Saints in 2005 as Director of Marketing. During the past two seasons he has served as Director of Sales and Marketing.

Lehv has spent six seasons with the Goldklang Group beginning his baseball career with the Charleston RiverDogs in 2002 handling broadcast and media relations duties. He took over as the Director of Broadcasting/Media Relations in 2003 and in 2004 was named the Media Relations Director of the Year in the South Atlantic League.

A 2001 graduate of the University of Michigan Lehv is originally from White Plains, NY. He currently lives in St. Paul, MN.

The Saints conclude their 2007 regular season home schedule on Wednesday, August 22.
