Saint Louis FC 2019 Schedule Revealed

ST. LOUIS, Mo. - The USL Championship announced the 2019 regular season schedule today which will see Saint Louis FC play 34 games over 33 weeks starting on March 9th with the home opener against Indy Eleven.
Saint Louis FC will begin the season with six of the first nine games at home against Indy Eleven, Tampa Bay Rowdies, Charlotte Independence, expansion-side Birmingham Legion FC, rival Swope Park Rangers, and Ottawa Fury FC. The team will then be on the road for most of the summer with only five of 16 games at home from May 5th-September 1st, with the side finishing a majority of the season at home with six games out of nine as the club looks for a successive USL Cup Playoff berth.
Single-game tickets for the home opener on March 9th against Indy Eleven will go on sale on January 14th to the public. All other single-game tickets for the remaining home games will go on sale on February 1st. Season tickets for all 17 regular season home games are on sale now and group reservations can also be placed for any home game to secure group experiences. The 2019 USL Cup Playoffs will expand to include 10 teams from each conference, with the lowest four seeds in each conference opening the postseason in the Play-In Round, provisionally slated for Wednesday, October 23rd with the No. 7 seed hosting the No. 10 seed and the No. 8 seed hosting the No. 9 seed for a place in the Conference Quarterfinals. Following the Play-In Round, the two teams to advance will be placed into the main bracket for the Conference Quarterfinals, with the lower remaining seed facing the conference's No. 1 seed and the higher remaining seed facing the No. 2 seed.
The single-elimination format will then continue for the following four weekends in a fixed-bracket format with the higher seed in each matchup serving as host through the Eastern and Western Conference Finals. The 2019 USL Cup will be held between November 14-18, 2019 and be hosted by the conference champion with the better regular-season record.
