
Sadak Named as Rocks Broadcaster

Wilmington, DE - The Wilmington Blue Rocks have announced that John Sadak has been hired as the Director of Broadcasting and Media Relations. Sadak takes over for Steve Lenox who announced his resignation on April 18.
The 27-year-old Sadak returns to the Blue Rocks after serving as the Assistant Director of Broadcasting and Media Relations in 2004 under Lenox. Sadak most recently worked as the Assistant Director of Video Board Operations at Yankee Stadium.
"We are really happy to have John back working for the Blue Rocks," Blue Rocks General Manager Chris Kemple said. "John did a great job with us back in 2004 and were excited that he as agreed to come back."
Sadak, a 2003 graduate of Rowan University, has been broadcasting women's basketball for the past two seasons for the University of Delaware. Sadak has also filled in on the men's broadcasts as well. Sadak has also broadcast women's basketball games for Princeton University.
Sadak will take over the broadcasting duties on Friday, April 28 when Wilmington returns home to take on the Winston-Salem Warthogs. Game time will be at 7:05 p.m.
The Blue Rocks wrap up the month of April with three games against Winston-Salem, Carolina League affiliate of the Chicago White Sox. On Saturday, April 29 the Blue Rocks will have their first fireworks night of the season. Game time is at 6:05 p.m. with gates opening up at 4:45 p.m.
Some of the great promotions this year at Frawley Stadium include nine fireworks nights and great giveaways such as Replica Batting Practice Jerseys. The Blue Rocks will also square off against popular major league affiliates such as the Washington Nationals and the current World Series Champion Chicago White Sox.
