The Hillcats clawed their way back into the game with a solo homerun by Vince Rooi in the sixth, followed by back to back home runs by Mike Carlin and Brad Correll in the seventh, cutting the lead to one. With two outs and a Lynchburg runner on second in the eighth inning, Argenis Reyes made a run saving catch, leaping high in the air to pull down a Carlin line drive that could have tied the game. Jensen Lewis (2-2) picked up the win for the K-Tribe, T.J. Burton pitched a perfect ninth inning for his third save of the year and Lynchburg's Brian Holliday (1-2), picks up his second loss of the season.
