ERIE EEKS OUT SERIES FINALE WIN AT UPMC: The Rumble Ponies lost at UPMC Park for the first time since 2017 when they dropped the third and final game to the SeaWolves, 11-10. Binghamton came back twice in the loss, including a game-tying ninth-inning run to make it 10-10. Kody Eaves sent Binghamton to their third walk-off loss with a ninth inning sacrifice fly.

BINGHAMTON STARTER: RHP Josh Prevost makes his Rumble Ponies and Double-A debut in game one of the twin bill. After missing the entire 2017 season due to Tommy John surgery, Prevost has returned to make eight starts with St. Lucie (High-A). He's posted a 4-1 mark with a 4.20 ERA and is unbeaten in his last seven starts. The New Jersey native was a fifth round draft selection in 2014.

HELLO AGAIN: The Rumble Ponies and Fisher Cats square off for the 15th and 16th times this season, meeting each other more than any other pair of Eastern League teams. The Eastern Division foes have split the first 14 games seven and seven.

this season.

BOMBS AWAY: Binghamton snapped a season-long four-game home run drought with two in Thursday's loss. Matt Oberste hit his fifth of the season, while Joey Wong launched his second. The Rumble Ponies lead the league with 58 longballs. The 2017 Rumble Ponies hit 66 home runs in the regular season.

HANDING OUT (DOUBLE) DIGITS: Binghamton allowed a season-worst 11 runs in yesterday's loss. It's only the second time the Rumble Ponies have allowed more than nine runs in a game - also against Erie in a series finale, on May 5 (10-3 loss).

ROMANO MY GOD: The last time Binghamton and New Hampshire met (May 5), Jordan Romano pitched and won game two of a doubleheader at NYSEG Stadium. The right-handed Canadian has won nine straight starts, included his one with Triple-A Buffalo on May 27.

SCOUTING THE FISHER CATS: New Hampshire has the best record in the Eastern League at 33-19, but had their five-game winning streak snapped on Thursday in a 12-9 extra-inning loss to Portland. Vladimir Guerrero Jr. leads the league with a .414 batting average, while starters Sean Reid-Foley & Jordan Romano have the top two ERA's in the league, combining to go (13-0).

MAY FLOWERS: The Rumble Ponies finished the month of May with a 17-14 mark. Only three teams finished with more wins (Trenton - 20, New Hampshire - 19, Akron - 18).

UP NEXT: The Rumble Ponies and Fisher Cats conclude their series with another doubleheader on Sunday afternoon. First pitch in game one at NYSEG Stadium is scheduled for 1:05 PM with RHP Nabil Crismatt battling New Hampshire RHP T.J. Zeuch.
