
Royalty and Star Wars Invade the Grove

Frederick, MD (August 9, 2011) - WWE Royalty and the force of Star Wars offer fans of all ages a great time this upcoming week at Harry Grove Stadium. The Keys return home this Thursday night for 80's Night to start a seven-game homestand. On Friday night at 7PM, Jerry "The King" Lawler will reign over the Grove on "Salute to the Blue Collar Worker" Night.
Lawler will be in attendance throughout the duration of the game to sign autographs and take pictures on the concourse. Interviews leading up to the game regarding Jerry's appearance should be directed to Adam Pohl at apohl@frederickkeys.com. Fireworks will light up the skies on both Friday and Saturday night. Saturday night's game begins at 6PM with local radio station, KEY 103, in attendance.
Fast forwarding to Sunday at 2PM, Keyote will celebrate his birthday in memorable fashion with a Star Wars theme. Keyote will be joined by his mascot friends along with Jedi Masters, Storm Troopers, Tai Pilots, Darth Vader and more! The Star Wars characters will be featured in on-field performances throughout the game. Sunday is also Meet the Team, where fans can get their favorite players' autograph on the field from 1-1:30. Also, if you haven't started growing your stache just yet, make sure to start now! Tuesday, August 17th, is Tribute to Mustache Night with the Keys. Those sporting the under-nose facial hair will receive ticket discounts. The first 500 fans to enter the gates will receive a stick-on mustache.
