Royals Seek To Spread Holiday Cheer With \'Season Of Giving'
November 15, 2006 - ECHL (ECHL)
Reading Royals News Release
Reading, PA - The Reading Royals of the ECHL today announced the 2006-07 'Proud To Be A Royal' Season of Giving ticket program, which is intended to serve as an economical way to spread some holiday cheer throughout a large group of persons who otherwise might not have the opportunity to enjoy an evening of fun at a Royals' hockey game this year. Under the SOG Program, the Royals will match one-for-one every ticket purchased for charitable organizations to the Royals' games during the first three weeks of December. As an example, if an individual or business entity elects to purchase ten tickets for a charity of their choice, the Royals will deliver a total of twenty tickets to that charity.
It is extremely simple to participate in the Royals' SOG Program. Just fill out the Participation Form found on the Royals' website (www.royalshockey.com/community/SeasonofGiving.asp) and return it to the Royals' ticketing department. The Royals will take care of the rest. If you want to participate in the SOG program but do not have a charity of choice, the Royals have an extensive network of charities with which the team has historically worked, including the Olivet Boys & Girls Club, the Children's Home of Reading, Berks Women In Crisis, and many others; and the Royals will gladly work with you to select a charity in need.
In addition to helping out a charitable organization during this holiday season, there are numerous other benefits bestowed on participants in the SOG Program, including up to four tickets (at no extra charge) for you to sit with your chosen charitable organization (minimum purchase of 20 tickets); the opportunity to purchase additional tickets for your friends and/or employees at the same price for that game night; an autographed puck and special thank-you card from a Royals' player; recognition on the video board in each game during the month of December as a participant in the "Season of Giving"; and a letter from the Royals acknowledging your participation.
The Royals want to thank our friends, fans and business partners in advance for participating in the 2006-07 'Proud To Be A Royal' Season of Giving Program, and, if you have any questions, please feel free to call the Royals General Manager, Gordon Kaye (610-898-7212) for more information.
