Reading Royals News Release

Reading, PA - The Reading Royals of the ECHL, affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings of the National Hockey League and the Manchester Monarchs of the American Hockey League, today announced that forwards Greg Hogeboom and Dany Roussin have been recalled to Manchester. Hogeboom has picked up at least a point in eight of the ten games he's played for the Royals this season, racking up three 5 goals and 8 assists, while playing to a team high +7. Hogeboom became the first player in Royals' team history to score on a penalty shot, when he bagged a short-handed penalty shot in Reading's 5-3 loss to the Johnstown Chiefs on Sunday. Three of Hogeboom's five goals for the Royals this season have been scored while the team was playing shorthanded, which places Hogeboom tied for the league lead in that category. Roussin picked up an assist in the four games he played four games in this most recent stint with Reading.

Reading is back in action on Friday and Saturday night with back-to-back games against the Toledo Storm (7:05 pm both nights). Friday night is Ladies Night with the first 1500 fans receiving a cosmetic case courtesy of Capital Blue Cross; and Saturday the first 1500 fans 21 years of age or older will receive a 16 ounce Royals' pilsner glass courtesy of All-Star Distributing. Royals' game night broadcasts can be heard live on ESPN Radio 1240 am (and on the internet through the Royals' website, www.royalshockey.com), beginning thirty minutes before the opening faceoff.
