Royals Present National Bank Intra-Squad Game

Victoria, BC - The Victoria Royals will split the remaining training camp roster in half tonight for the National Bank Intra-Squad Game. Puck drop is set for 7:05 p.m. at Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre.

Tonight's National Bank Intra-Squad Game will mark the end of the Royals' 2012 training camp and the last chance for fans to see some of the team's young prospects in advance of the WHL pre-season.

Admission to the game will be by donation, with all proceeds going towards Easter Seals Camp Shawnigan. Seating will be general admission for the contest as the Royals wrap up training camp in preparation for their 2012 WHL pre-season schedule, which begins tomorrow night in Kamloops.

Fans attending the National Bank Intra-Squad Game will also have the opportunity to purchase tickets before the general public to the Royals' home opener on September 22nd as well as the 2012 Subway Super Series game to be held on November 15th at the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre.

In conjunction with broadcast partners The Zone @91.3 and 100.3 The Q, the Royals will be selling hot dogs, popcorn and pop for only $1.00! Vouchers for dollar dogs, popcorn and pop are available for download and print from www.thezone.fm and www.theq.fm.

National Bank Financial Group has partnered with the BC Lions Society this year in support of Easter Seals Camp Shawnigan while Chuck-A-Puck proceeds will also benefit their cause. The 50/50 draw will go towards the Westshore Rebels.

The Royals will kick off their 2012-13 home schedule on September 22nd when they will host the Vancouver Giants at the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre. Season tickets and mini-packs are now on sale.
