Broncos Acquire Lund from Thunderbirds

Swift Current, SK - Swift Current Bronco General Manager and Head Coach, Mark Lamb, announced that the team has acquired overage forward Chance Lund from the Seattle Thunderbirds for a sixth-round pick in the 2013 WHL Bantam Draft.

In 67 games played last season with the Thunderbirds, the 6'5", 223-pound Fairview, AB product produced a career-high 32 points (15-17-32) and 26 penalty minutes. The 20-year-old forward was taken by the Thunderbirds in the fourth round (82nd overall) of the 2007 WHL Bantam Draft.

"Chance is a big guy who fits the identity of our team perfectly," says General Manager and Head Coach, Mark Lamb. "He brings a scoring touch, strong skating ability and several years of WHL playing experience to our team and we're excited to have him join us."

Chance also represented Team Pacific in the 2009 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge.
