Blades Set to Kickoff 2012-13 Training Camp

The Saskatoon Blades are pleased to be kicking off training camp for the 2012-13 season!

Training camp officially gets going tomorrow in Saskatoon with official heights, weights, headshots and meetings with the media, parents and players. The team will then hit the ice starting first thing Friday morning in Martensville.

For fans, you are definitely encouraged to attend the intrasquad scrimmages, which kick off on Friday night at 6:00PM at the rink in Martensville.

A full schedule of the Blades training camp plans can be found on the Saskatoon Blades website, complete with rosters times and dates.

Make sure you don't miss the Blades annual Blue/White game, which takes place in Martensville on Monday at 1:00PM!

- Saskatoon Blades season tickets are still on sale for the 2012-13 season. Also remember that the best way to reserve your spot at the 2013 MasterCard Memorial Cup is to be a Blades season ticket holder. Having season tickets will confirm your same seat for the event. Call the Blades office at 975-8844 for more information on various ticket packages and seating option.

- If you are a current season ticket holder and confirmed your tickets prior to July 15th, your ticket booklets have arrived! They can now be picked up from the Saskatoon Blades office at CUC.

- The Blades recently announced that the first home exhibition game of the season will be held in Warman, about 10 minutes outside of Saskatoon. The city of Warman has a brand new multi-purpose facility, which includes a state of the art hockey rink. The Saskatoon Blades are proud to be hosting the Prince Albert Raiders on Saturday, September 8th in Warman. Tickets for the event cost $10 with all proceeds going toward Warman Minor Hockey. You can purchase your tickets at the new rink in Warman or at the Saskatoon Blades office at CUC.

- The Saskatoon Blades are also pleased to be hosting a brand new Goalie Mask Design Contest sponsored by United Transfers. Simply create your mask design and send it to the Blades for your chance to win. The winner will receive the mask, which will be worn in a game by a Blades goaltender on February 18th, 2013.
