
Royals Host Blazers this Weekend; Pink in the Rink on Saturday

Victoria, BC - The Victoria Royals will host BC Division rivals, the Kamloops Blazers for a two-game homestand this weekend. Saturday night's game is the Royals' fifth annual Pink in the Rink Night in support of the BC Cancer Foundation. Puck drop for both games is scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
GET 'EM BEFORE THEY'RE GONE: Tickets to Saturday's Pink in the Rink Night are still available, but limited quantities remain. Fans are encouraged to buy their tickets in advance at the Select Your Tickets Box Office, online at www.selectyourtickets.com or over the phone at 250-220-7777.
SINCE THE NEW YEAR: Since January 1st, the Royals have posted a record of 14-4-2-1 and 31 points. During that span, Victoria's record is first in the WHL and two points ahead of the league leading Lethbridge Hurricanes, who have recorded 29 points (14-4-1-0) since January 1st.

- Back by popular demand, the Royals have once again partnered with Ali Baba Pizza to bring the Ali Baba Friends and Family Nights on Friday vs. the Blazers. The ticket pack includes four tickets, four Ali Baba pizza slice coupons (available at the four Greater Victoria locations only) and four Royals' hats for only $49, including service charges and taxes. SATURDAY - PINK IN THE RINK NIGHT
The BC Cancer Foundation (BCCF) will be selling raffle tickets at Gate 1 for a grand prize package courtesy of McKay's Electronics. The prize pack includes a 48" Samsung Smart TV and SONOS Sound Bar with wall mount kits. All proceeds go to the BCCF.
Pre-Game:
- Fans are encouraged to wear their best pink costumes to the game for a chance to win an LG G4 smartphone from Ocean 98.5. To enter, take a selfies the Ocean 98.5 kiosk at Gate 1 and post on social media with the #getpink. The finalists will go on ice during the second intermission where the winner will be determined by a fan vote.

Jersey Auctions:
- A selection of Royals' 2016 Pink in the Rink jerseys will be available via silent auction by donation to the BC Cancer Foundation and Victoria Royals Education & Scholarship Fund during both games.
- After Saturday's contest there will be a live jersey auction on the ice for the game worn jerseys of Victoria players, Joe Hicketts, Matthew Phillips and Coleman Vollrath. Fans will have the opportunity to bid on Griffen Outhouse's authentic game worn Pink in the Rink goalie mask, courtesy of TM Kustoms Airbrushing and Sign Art.
