
Royals Game Caps Mutual of Omaha Celebration

OMAHA, NE - Mutual of Omaha's Wild About Omaha weekend in late July will be capped off with an Omaha Royals game at Rosenblatt Stadium, featuring a popular national entertainment act and fireworks. In celebration of the company's centennial, Mutual of Omaha will provide free tickets to the game, to be distributed to the general public in July.
Mutual of Omaha's Wild About Omaha Weekend" is slated for Friday, July 24th and Saturday, July 25th, featuring free events at several Omaha arts and entertainment venues. It culminates on Saturday night when the Royals host the Round Rock Express at 7:05 p.m. Gates will open at 5:30 p.m. - a half-hour earlier than normal, to facilitate traffic flow and allow guests to enjoy the entertainment. The ZOOperstars! will perform throughout the night, and the game will be followed by an enhanced fireworks display, both presented by Mutual of Omaha.
"We are extremely excited that Mutual of Omaha selected the Omaha Royals game on Saturday, July 25 as the finale to their Wild About Omaha Weekend" said Royals Vice President/General Manager Martie Cordaro. "This night will have something for everyone from mascot entertainers to baseball to fireworks."

"Our Wild About Omaha Weekend is a celebration of the great attractions this city has to offer. There will be something for everyone, and what better way to cap off the fun than a baseball game."
Beginning on July 6th, fans will be able to pick up free tickets to the game at 13 Hy-Vee locations and three Mutual of Omaha Bank locations in the metro area, as well as at the Royals ticket office at Rosenblatt.
