Everett, WA - The Victoria Royals dropped a 9-4 decision to the Everett Silvertips on Sunday at the Angel of the Winds Arena.

Notes: Record Tied - With a helper today, Tyler Soy tied the franchise record for most assists with his 151st in his 295th WHL contest. The record was set by former Chilliwack Bruin and Victoria alumnus Brandon Magee who registered 151 in 318 games.

Stretching it Out - Multiple players extended their point streaks today. Soy now has points in 11 straight games and has earned 19 points (8g-11a) during that span. Scott Walford has earned an assist his last four games. Meanwhile, Chaz Reddekopp (2g-3a), Matthew Phillips (1g-4a), and Dino Kambeitz (1g-2a) have collected points in their previous three contests.

Milestone Contest - Royals' forward Kaid Oliver took part in his 100th WHL game today and earned a pair of assists. The product of White Rock, BC has tallied 29 points (7g-22a) since he joined Victoria last season.

Three-in-Three - Today's game marked the third contest in as many days for both Victoria and Everett. This marks the only three-in-three the Royals will endure this season.

Coming Home - Victoria returns home for a weekend series with the Kamloops Blazers on Friday, January 12th and Saturday, January 13th at the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre.
