Reading Royals News Release

Reading, PA - The Reading Royals of the ECHL and Once Upon A Child invite all young Royals' fans-and their family and friends and everyone else-to an exciting afternoon of professional hockey with special prices and activities when the Royals face the Dayton Bombers on The Martin Luther King Holiday, January 21, 2008 (1:05 pm), at the Sovereign Center in Reading. Tickets are just $7.00 for all kids eighteen years of age and younger, as well as college students with a valid school ID, and a special afternoon game day menu will feature $1.00 hot dogs, sodas, popcorn and nachos. The first 1500 fans twelve years of age or younger in attendance that day will receive a special picture frame courtesy of Once Upon A Child (1153 Berkshire Boulevard, Wyomissing, PA; 610-375-1700)-and the kids will be able to get their own personal classic shot to put in that frame during a photo session with the players immediately following the game that afternoon. The day's activities will kick off with a special pre-game tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and will conclude with the photo session, which will be conducted at ice level with each child having an opportunity to take photographs of (and with) their favorite players. (It is recommended that fans bring their own camera that day, however there will be disposable cameras available for purchase.)

The Royals return to action tomorrow night (Wednesday, December 12 at 7:00 pm) at the Sovereign Bank Arena in Trenton, New Jersey, where the team will take on the Trenton Devils. The next home game for the Royals is Saturday, December 22, 2007 (7:05 pm) when the Royals will face the Dayton Bombers and the first 2000 fans will receive an ice-scraper mitten courtesy of Capital BlueCross. The game night radio broadcast on Wednesday will begin at 6:30 pm with the pre-game warm-up show on ESPN Radio 1240 am and on the internet at www.royalshockey.com. Streaming video is available on a pay-per-view basis through the B2 Networks.
