Chiefs To Host Food Drive

Johnstown, PA - The Johnstown Chiefs announced today that they have partnered up with Food For Families for the second annual Holiday Food Drive.
Starting on December 21st, fans are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to the UPMC Health Plan Ice Rink at the Cambria County War Memorial Arena. Barrels will be placed in the lobby where the food donations can be placed. The Holiday Food Drive will be held through the December 22nd game.
Everyone who donates a non-perishable food item will be placed into a drawing for a Chiefs Holiday prize pack. The winner will be picked following the Saturday home game and will be contacted the following week.
Food For Families was founded on July 12, 1982. Through warehouse operations in Johnstown, Food For Families, Inc. supplies the food that stock the shelves and tables of the area pantries and human service agencies. In turn, neighborhood pantries provide three-day food supples to income qualified people. Agencies feed clients or respond to emergencies.
Tickets for all upcoming home games are now on sale at the Cambria County War Memorial Box office or by calling (814) 536-5156 or by visiting www.ticketmaster.com . The Chiefs merchandise store is open Monday through Friday 9 - 5 PM or during all home games. Stop in get your Holiday gifts purchased before it is too late.
