Salmon Kings promoted to AHL

Victoria Salmon Kings News Release


Victoria, BC - The Victoria Salmon Kings, proud affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks and Manitoba Moose, announced today that goaltender Julien Ellis and forward Milan Gajic and have been recalled to the AHL by the Manitoba Moose.

Ellis, a native of Sorel, QC, is in his second season with Salmon Kings. He has played 12 games for Victoria this season and has accumulated a 9-2-0 record. He has a 2.91 goals against average and a 0.921 save percentage.

The 6-0, 185lb Ellis competed for the Moose last season. In eight games for Manitoba he accumulated a 7-1 record a 3.37 GAA and a save percentage of 0.884. Ellis is under contract to the Vancouver Canucks and was their sixth round draft pick (# 189 overall) in the 2004 NHL Entry draft.
