Brodeur Reassigned to Rockford

PENSACOLA, FL - The Pensacola Ice Pilots have announced that goaltender Mike Brodeur has been reassigned by the Chicago Blackhawks to the Rockford IceHogs. Brodeur who is under an NHL contract with the Blackhawks played in 12 games this season for the Pilots, starting 11 of them.

Brodeur's record with the Ice Pilots is 2-6-2 with a shut out. He recorded the blanking on October 26 against Reading where he made 28 saves. He has a 0.906 save percentage and a 3.40 GAA. To fill the void, the Ice Pilots acquired Cam Ellsworth from the Stockton Thunder last week.

Defenseman Steve Marr has also returned to the Ice Pilots after a short weekend stint in Rockford.
