
Royals Activate Forward Daniel Steiner

Reading, PA - The Reading Royals of the ECHL, affiliate of the Toronto Maple Leafs and Boston Bruins of the National Hockey League and the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League, today announced that forward Daniel Steiner has been activated from the 7-Day Injured Reserve. In separate transactions, the Royals also placed defenseman Joey Ryan on the 3-Day Injured Reserve and transferred defenseman Rob LaLonde from the 3-Day Injured Reserve to the 7-Day Injured Reserve.
Steiner is expected to be in the line-up this afternoon when the Royals face the South Carolina Stingrays (Sunday, November 8 @ 5:05 pm) at the Sovereign Center. Reading will celebrate Veterans' Day at this afternoon's game. Berks Enduring Freedom will be at the game to collect items for distribution to our troops overseas; and Deibler Dental will give pocket U.S. Constitutions to the first 2500 fans in attendance.
