Rosa finished the season with 39 goals and 49 assists in 77 games with the Monarchs. He capped his breakout season with a two-goal performance versus the Worcester IceCats on April 11.

Rosa's 39 goals were second only to Bridgeport Sound Tigers right wing Jeff Hamilton, who led the league with 43 goals.

Rosa's 49 assists tied center Steve Kelly for the team leadership on the Monarchs. The 49 helpers ranked third in the circuit behind Rochester Americans center Domenic Pittis (57 assists) and Hershey Bears center Eric Perrin (54 assists).

With his second goal against the IceCats on April 11, Rosa became the Monarchs career goal-scoring leader. In 138 career games with the Monarchs, Rosa has 67 goals, one better than Healey's 66, collected in 140 Monarchs games from 2001-03.
