
Penguins' David Koci suspended for four games

WILKES-BARRE, PA - Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins defenseman David Koci has been suspended for four American Hockey League Calder Cup games for his checking from behind incident involving Hartford Wolf Pack forward Jozef Balej in AHL Game #1106 on April 10.
Koci was assessed a major penalty for checking from behind and a game misconduct for checking from behind at 17:09 of the second period.
Koci will miss the first four games of the Penguins' East Division Semifinal series vs. Bridgeport (April 15, 17, 18 and 20), which begins on Thursday at Bridgeport's Arena at Harbor Yard.
