Roadrunners Battle Barons in Qualifying Round

The Toronto Roadrunners face the Cleveland Barons this week in the best-of-three North Division Qualifying Round. The winner of the series will move on to face the Hamilton Bulldogs in the best-of-seven North Division Semi-Finals.

The Roadrunners played three games last week. Toronto wrapped up its inaugural regular season with a win on Saturday, April 10, when they came from behind to defeat the St. John's Maple Leafs 4-3 at Mile One Stadium. The Roadrunners were defeated 4-3 by the Rochester Americans on Wednesday, April 7 in their final regular season home game, and fell 3-2 to St. John's on Friday, April 9.

With goals in back-to-back games last week, Michael Henrich tied his AHL career high for goals in a season with 14

With his goal in Toronto's final regular season game, forward Joe Cullen finished the season leading all Roadrunners' rookies with 14 goals
