ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - Ryan Spilborghs' seventh-inning, two-run triple propelled the Round Rock Express to a 5-2 victory over the Albuquerque Isotopes in Wednesday night's Pacific Coast League series finale at Isotopes Park. The Express (29-38) won two of three games in the series and are 4-3 against the Isotopes (37-30) this season.

Leonys Martin and Yangervis Solarte opened the seventh with successive doubles, and Spilborghs followed with the game-winning triple to right field. The Express tacked on a run in the eighth when Greg Miclat doubled with two outs and Martin followed with an RBI single.

Meanwhile, Express starter Greg Reynolds (5-5) kept the Albuquerque bats in check, allowing two runs on six hits and a walk over seven innings with five strikeouts. Ross Wolf pitched a scoreless eighth with one walk in his first game with the Express after being promoted from Double-A Frisco earlier in the week. Aaron Heilman worked around a leadoff single for a scoreless ninth for his second save; he had one strikeout.

Albuquerque starter Fernando Nieve (3-4) took the loss; he allowed four runs - three earned - on 10 hits and a walk with five strikeouts over six innings.

Brad Nelson's two-out RBI single in the top of the first gave the Express an early lead. Albuquerque tied the game in the third on Jerry Sands' one-out RBI single. Round Rock recaptured the lead in the top of the fourth on Martin's one-out RBI single, but the Isotopes tied the game again in the bottom of the inning. Former Express member Luis Cruz led off with a triple and scored on Josh Fields' subsequent groundout.

Round Rock tallied 15 hits on the night, reaching that plateau for a second consecutive game for the first time since May 1-2. Martin and Spilborghs led the charge with three hits apiece. Nelson, Miclat and Yangervis Solarte all enjoyed two-hit nights. Eight of nine starters hit safely.

Seven Isotopes had one hit each. Sands and Fields also both walked.

Round Rock returns home Thursday, starting an eight-game home stand with the opener of a four-game series against the Oklahoma City RedHawks. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. CDT at The Dell Diamond. Right-hander Neil Ramirez (6-6, 7.88 ERA) is scheduled to start for the Express, while right-hander Dallas Keuchel (5-4, 4.26 ERA) is scheduled to start for the RedHawks.
