SALT LAKE CITY (June 13, 2012) - On Friday, June 15, the Knothole Club will hold its first player clinic of the season for members at Spring Mobile Ballpark from 10 a.m. to noon. The official kids club of the Salt Lake Bees will also hold a player clinic for members on Thursday, July 26 and Saturday, August 4, both from 10 a.m. to noon. For the sixth consecutive season, members will have the chance to participate in baseball drills with Bees players and receive autographs.

"One of the largest kids clubs in minor league baseball, the Knothole Club continues to offer an inexpensive and unique opportunity for youth in our community to experience Bees baseball up close and personal," said Bees General Manager Marc Amicone. "The fundamental instruction from our players highlights the club's membership perks."

Sponsored by Denny's, the National Guard and AAA, Knothole Club memberships cost $12 per season and are available for kids ages 12-and-under. Benefits include a ticket voucher to a Salt Lake Bees game, a Salt Lake Bees t-shirt and a membership ID card entitling the holder to discounted Bees and Utah Jazz tickets and a free kid's entrée at a participating Salt Lake area Denny's.

Youth baseball organizations also have the option of enrolling their entire league in the Knothole Club. Salt Lake Bees t-shirts, jerseys and/or hats can be purchased for use as uniforms at a reduced price.

Individual memberships can be purchased online at slbees.com or at Bees home games at Spring Mobile Ballpark. Baseball team memberships can be arranged by contacting Nate Martinez at (801) 325-2573.
