The Express are 6-4 in their last 10 games after splitting the first two games of this series. The Bees are 7-3 in their last 10 games and have won five of their last six. Round Rock is 35-23 at The Dell Diamond, while Salt Lake is 27-31 on the road.

GENTRY BEGINS REHAB WITH EXPRESS
Craig Gentry begins a rehab assignment with the Express tonight. He has been on the disabled list since July 28 due to concussion symptoms. Gentry, who started the season at Round Rock, is expected to be with the Express through the weekend. He hit .239 with four doubles, nine RBI and four stolen bases in 25 games with Round Rock. Gentry has played 39 games with the Rangers, hitting .265 with five doubles, nine RBI and 12 stolen bases.
LAST NIGHT'S GAMES
Matt Palmer tossed seven shutout innings as the Bees defeated the Express 6-2. Palmer scattered seven hits and two walks with two strikeouts. Round Rock did not scratch the scoreboard until Matt Kata's ninth-inning RBI single; a second run scored on a two-out Salt Lake fielding error. The Express tallied 11 hits - all singles - but were 1-for-10 with runners in scoring position. Freddy Sandoval's two-out RBI single in the second broke a scoreless tie, and the Bees got another run on a wild pitch. Salt Lake pushed their lead to 6-0 with a three-run third and a run in the sixth. Kata was 3-for-4, while Esteban German and Val Majewski each had two hits.
ROUND ROCK AMONG TOP PCL TEAMS
The Express (66-47, .584) own the PCL's second-best record behind Sacramento (69-44, .611). Round Rock is three-and-a-half games ahead of Omaha (62-50, .554) in the overall American Conference standings; the Storm Chasers snapped a six-game winning streak last night. Only six of 16 PCL teams are above .500 - four in the American Conference.
DIVISION STANDINGS UPDATE
Round Rock (66-47, .584) maintained an eight-game lead over Albuquerque (57-54, .514) in the American Southern Division standings with last night. While the Express lost to Salt Lake 6-2, the Isotopes lost to Tacoma 12-4. It marked only the fourth time in the last 16 games that Round Rock and Albuquerque had the same result. The Express are 29-16 since June 18, during which time Albuquerque is 19-26. Round Rock has at least shared the division lead following 91 of 113 games this season and has led the division outright since June 25. New Orleans (55-58, .487) trails Round Rock by 11 games, while Oklahoma City (49-64, .434) is 17 games back.
JONES APPROACHING MILESTONE
Express manager Bobby Jones enters tonight's game with 1,495 career managerial wins - all of which have come in the Texas Rangers organization. His tally includes stints with Class-A Charlotte (1988-1990), Double-A Tulsa (1991-1992, 1996-2000), Triple-A Oklahoma City (1993-1994, 2002-2010) and Round Rock. Jones' most successful season at the Triple-A level was 2004 when he led Oklahoma City to 81 wins and the PCL American Southern Division title. He owns 12 division titles and guided the 1998 Tulsa squad to a Texas League championship.
