
Zephyrs fall in Arizona

New Orleans Baby Cakes News Release
TUCSON, AZ - Tucson scored a pair of runs in the sixth and seventh innings to defeat the New Orleans Zephyrs 7-4 at Kino Stadium. The loss is the Zephyrs third consecutive.
The Padres scored runs in the first three innings to take a 3-1 lead on the visiting Zephyrs. New Orleans scored a pair in the top of the sixth inning to tie the contest.
Tucson answered off of Zephyrs starter Elih Villanueva scoring a pair of runs. Drew Macias doubled to centerfield to score a pair. Villanueva worked six innings and allowed five runs on nine hits and suffered his ninth loss of the season.
Will Inman pitched an inning and a third in relief to earn the win for the T-Pads. Eric Patterson led the way with three hits in three at bats for Tucson and scored three runs including a home run.
