TONIGHT'S GAMES

Round Rock continues its final road trip Tuesday with the second game of a four-game series against the Omaha Royals (Kansas City Royals). This is the Express' final road series of the season. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. CDT at Rosenblatt Stadium. The Express (55-82) are 1-9 in their last 10 games and have lost six straight. The Royals (75-62) are 5-5 in their last 10 games after winning Monday night's series opener 23-5. Round Rock is 20-49 on the road, winning only two of 17 road series. Omaha is 37-32 at home. The Express enter Tuesday's game fourth in the PCL American Southern Division, 17 games behind division-leader Oklahoma City. The Royals are third in the PCL American Northern Division, three-and-a-half games behind division-leader Iowa, three games behind second-place Memphis and two-and-a-half games ahead of fourth-place Nashville.

EXPRESS-ROYALS SERIES

Omaha leads the season series 9-4, winning four of five meetings at Rosenblatt Stadium. The teams split a four-game set at The Dell Diamond in April, and the Royals won three of four at Round Rock in June. The Express lost the first three games of a series at Omaha in late May, salvaging the series finale 4-2. The third game of the teams' first series at Rosenblatt Stadium - a 10-2 Omaha victory - saw every run scored via home run (six by the Royals; two by the Express). Round Rock and Omaha have played four extra-inning games with the Royals winning each of the last three; the teams have played a total of 10 extra innings. The Express have scored more than five runs only once in this year's 13 meetings - an 8-3 victory June 20 at The Dell Diamond.
