MEMPHIS, TN - New Orleans ended Memphis' season-best, seven-game win streak Tuesday night at AutoZone Park with a 12-7 Zephyrs victory.

The two clubs battled back-and-forth through the first three innings with New Orleans clinging to a 5-4 lead after three. However, the Z's offense took off against the Redbirds bullpen scoring six runs over the final four innings to seal the victory. Seven different Zephyrs recorded two hits with Neil Wilson driving in three runs to lead the way. Tyler Greene paced the 'Birds with three doubles on the night. Joe Mather extended his hit streak to 12 games with a RBI-double in the first inning.

New Orleans starter Wes Whisler earned the win despite giving up four runs on seven hits over five innings. Memphis starter Oneli Perez was pegged with the loss giving up six runs on eight hits and five walks across four innings. Five Redbirds pitchers combined to equal a season-high with 10 walks.
