Round Rock continues a four-day, five-game road series the season's penultimate game against the Memphis Redbirds (St. Louis Cardinals). First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. CDT at AutoZone Park. The Express are riding a five-game winning streak, their longest of the season, after sweeping yesterday's doubleheader. Round Rock is 23-32 on the road but won five of the last six away from The Dell Diamond. The Redbirds have lost six of their last seven after winning eight of their first 10 games after the All-Star break. Round Rock is fourth in the PCL's American Southern Division, 16 games behind division-leader Albuquerque. Memphis is tied for third in the American Northern Division, 22 games back of Omaha.

This is the last of four series between the two teams this season. The Express won three of four May 4-7 at The Dell Diamond with the lone loss being a 10-inning affair. The teams split a four-game series May 29-June 1 at AutoZone Park. Memphis won all three games of a rain-shortened series at The Dell Diamond immediately following the All-Star break ... The Texas Rangers activated Mitch Moreland from the disabled list this afternoon. In order to make room on the active roster, the Rangers optioned Leonys Martin to Round Rock. Martin played 31 games for the Express earlier this season, hitting .344 (44-for-128) with five homers, 22 RBI and seven stolen bases. He was recalled to the Rangers following the June 14 games. Martin was 7-for-37 (.189) in 15 games with the Rangers, collecting four doubles, three triples, five RBI and two stolen bases; he was 1-for-3 with a double in his most recent game (July 28 vs. Chicago-AL).
FIVE TO ONE
Round Rock's current five-game winning streak is its longest of the season after a pair of four-game runs. All four games were decided by four or fewer runs, including two one-run games and a two-run affair. Express relievers are 1-0 with a 2.53 ERA (3 ER/10.2 IP) and three saves, holding opponents to five hits and one walk. Meanwhile, Express batters are 46-for-154 (.299) with three homers and 4.8 runs per game during the winning streak.
