
Roughnecks to select First Round ninth overall in 2006 NLL Entry Draft

Calgary, AB - The Calgary Roughnecks will pick four times in the 2006 NLL Entry Draft. The Draft will be hosted at the Theater at Madison Square Gardens in New York City on Wednesday, September 13 at 6:00pm (MTN).
The 2006 Draft will be broadcast live on broadband by B2 Networks, which will be free of charge to all fans who wish to watch on their home computers. Fans wanting to watch the draft will be able to access the broadcast through the National Lacrosse League's web site at www.nll.com.

The Roughnecks will open their sixth NLL season at home against the San Jose Stealth on Friday, January 12th at 7:30pm (MTN) at the Pengrowth Saddledome.
Notables: In a blockbuster trade completed prior to the league's Entry Draft on Wednesday, September 13th, the San Jose Stealth have traded forwards Ryan Boyle, Matt Alrich and goaltender Matt Vinc to New York in exchange for the First overall selection in this year's Entry Draft, a conditional sixth round selection, and goaltender Aaron Bold.
