Minnesota Swarm Owns Six Picks In Wednesday's NLL Entry Draft

SAINT PAUL/MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - The National Lacrosse League's (NLL) Minnesota Swarm currently owns six picks in the 2006 NLL Entry Draft. The six round 2006 Entry Draft will take place at The Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York City on Wednesday, September 13 at 7:00 PM (CDT). NLL clubs will be drafting the best young lacrosse talent from United State college and Canadian junior lacrosse programs.

The 2006 NLL Entry Draft will be broadcast live on broadband by B2 Networks. The broadcast will be free of charge to all fans. Fans will be able to watch the Entry Draft on their computers in the same manner in which they watched NLL games on B2 during the 2006 season. Wednesday's broadcast will be the first event leading up to the 2007 season. Fans wanting to watch the draft will be able to access the broadcast through the league site at www.nll.com.

Round 2 - 23rd overall

Round 3 - 31st overall

Round 4 - 44th overall

Round 5 - 57th overall

Round 6 - 70th overall

In addition, the Minnesota Swarm and KSTC.TV, Channel 45 jointly announced today that KSTC.TV will air a 30-minute NLL Entry Draft recap show on Saturday, September 16 at 5:30 PM (CDT).
