Roughnecks Launch Cardel Ruckus in the Rough House and Ladycrosse

Calgary, AB - The Calgary Roughnecks in partnership with Cardel Homes have announced two community programs: Ruckus in the Rough House, a fan initiative for the home-and-home series against the Edmonton Rush in support of the Calgary District Lacrosse Association (CDLA) and Ladycrosse Training Camp, a fun and interactive event where ladies can learn the skills of lacrosse.
On Friday, March 9, the Roughnecks visit the Edmonton Rush for the first time this season. The following night, Calgary hosts Edmonton at the Scotiabank Saddledome. Game time is 7:00 p.m. The team with the highest paid attendance in this weekend's fan edition of the Battle of Alberta will win a charitable donation in the amount of $5,000 for their local minor lacrosse program. Fans are encouraged to join the Roughnecks for Cardel Ruckus in the Rough House on Saturday, March 10 to help earn funds for the CDLA by beating Edmonton's Friday night attendance.
Friday's game will be broadcast live on Sportsnet ONE, with Saturday's contest airing on Sportsnet West and Pacific.
On Friday, March 23, Roughnecks players and coaches will host Cardel Ladycrosse Training Camp at the Subway Soccer Centre (7000 48 Street SE). For just $25, ladies 16 years of age or older are invited to come out for an exciting evening of lacrosse with hands on training from the Roughnecks. Registration begins at 5:30 p.m. with the two-hour training session starting at 6:00 p.m. A post-session munch and mingle with the players and coaches will wrap up this fun-filled event.
