A dominant pitching performance from Kenny Rosenberg led the Salt Lake Bees (26-29) to a 6-3 victory over the Albuquerque Isotopes (22-33) on Friday night at Smith's Ballpark, the fourth straight for Salt Lake.
Rosenberg tied a career-high with 10 strikeouts over six innings of work allowing just a single run. A trio of Bees relievers backed Rosenberg allowing a pair of runs while striking out another five batters to tie the season-high of 15 team strikeouts. Gerardo Reyes picked up his first save of the season with a spotless ninth inning.
Eight Bees batters picked up a hit led by two hit outings from David Fletcher, Jo Adell and Taylor Jones. Michael Stefanic extended his record-breaking on-base streak to 57 games with a fifth inning double.
The Bees will look for their fifth straight win on Saturday night against the Isotopes. First pitch is scheduled for 6:35 p.m. at Smith's Ballpark.
