Romero Homers as Tribe Thumped by Bats 6-1

Indianapolis Indians News Release
INDIANAPOLIS - Deibinson Romero homered in the fourth frame for the Indianapolis Indians' first home run of the season, but the effort was all the Tribe could muster in a 6-1 loss to the Louisville Bats on Thursday night at Victory Field.
Romero took Michael Lorenzen deep over the left field wall for the lone run surrendered by the opposing right-hander. The solo shot snapped a streak of seven straight games without a homer for the Indians (3-5).
Lorenzen (2-0) otherwise cruised to the win, scattering six hits with a lone walk and two strikeouts over his six-inning outing.
Tribe starter Chris Volstad (1-1) authored his second quality outing in as many assignments, but departed with the loss after giving up four runs (three earned) on eight hits through six frames.
Josh Satin paced Louisville's (4-4) offense and finished 2-for-2 with a pair of sacrifice flies and a game-high four RBIs.
Steve Lombardozzi matched Satin with a pair of base knocks for the Indians, including his third double, while extending his hitting streak to each of his six games this season.
