
Romell Quioto Selected by Honduras

MONTREAL - Forward Romell Quioto has been selected by the Honduras national team for three upcoming Concacaf qualifying games for the FIFA World Cup.
Honduras will first play against Canada on September 2 at 8:05pm at BMO Field, then El Salvador on September 5 at 7pm at Cuscatlan Stadium, and finally the United States on September 8 at 10:05pm at Estadio Olimpico Metropolitano.
In July, Quioto took part in the 2021 Gold Cup, playing three games in the group stage, scoring one goal against Grenada on July 13 and a brace versus Panama on July 17.
Quioto made his debut with the senior Honduras national team on March 1, 2012. He has now played a total of 50 games at the senior level, scoring 11 goals for his country.
