MLS Announces Plans for Fans to Attend the MLS All-Star Concert, Soccer Celebrations Tuesday, August 24

NEW YORK, N.Y. - Major League Soccer announced today event information for the MLS All-Star Concert presented by Heineken ® on Tuesday, August 24 in Los Angeles at The Torch, located at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. The musical performance is part of a week of fan experiences before the 2021 MLS All-Star Game presented by Target on Wednesday, August 25.

Grammy-winning Haitian-Canadian producer and DJ Kaytranada, and Grammy-winning rapper, producer and songwriter Big Boi, will co-headline the MLS All-Star Concert presented by Heineken®. Popular Los Angeles DJ Eddie One to open the event. Tickets are on sale now at Ticketmaster and TheTorch.LA .

Concert tickets are $15 and will benefit World Central Kitchen , a non-profit organization that uses the power of food to nourish communities and strengthen economies in times of crisis and beyond. World Central Kitchen is a team of food first responders, mobilizing with the urgency of now to get meals to those who need them most.

The musical performances are part of a week of soccer celebrations will be highlighted by the MLS All-Star Skills Challenge presented by AT&T 5G, the MLS All-Star Concert presented by Heineken ®, gameday fan activations, entertainment offerings, and more before MLS stars will battle the best of LIGA MX at LAFC's Banc of California stadium.

The 2021 MLS All-Star Game presented by Target will be broadcast in the U.S. on FS1 and Univision, in Canada on TSN and TVA Sports, and throughout Mexico and Latin America on ESPN at 9 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. PT. Tickets for the MLS All-Star Game are available at mlssoccer.com/all-star.

Beats, Cleats and Eats

Coca-Cola - in partnership with MLS - will debut a new event designed to excite and refresh both avid soccer fans and the surrounding community. Beats, Cleats and Eats, a free, public, outdoor event, will take place in the Plaza between the California Science Center and the African American Museum from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. PT . This will be a fun and fresh space where fans can experience aspects of cultural fusion which are unique to the game of soccer and the passions of supporters. Popular Los Angeles DJ Demi Lobo will serve as the anchor to set the scene, mixing a variety of tracks and musical styles, in addition to special guest appearances by MLS players, culinary offerings, a Classic Football Shirts exhibit including some of the most special jerseys in MLS history, and the opportunity to sample Coca-Cola refreshments. The Heineken® Tailgate

The Heineken® Tailgate, located at Christmas Tree Lane at Exposition Park, kicks off the evening festivities at 5 p.m. PT for those ages 21 and older and will feature live DJs - including Funk Freaks - a beer garden, and giveaways.

MLS All-Star Skills Challenge Presented by AT&T 5G

The MLS vs. LIGA MX rivalry will reach a new level as the two leagues face off in the 2021 MLS All-Star Skills Challenge presented by AT&T 5G at 6 p.m. PT. Providing fans with a uniquely competitive take on the intracontinental rivalry, the two-hour event will feature a team of eight MLS players battling eight of LIGA MX's best in five different challenges on the Banc of California Stadium field. MLS stars have already committed to join forces as two of the eight MLS players for the event. Tickets for the showcase event are available now, starting at $25.

MLS All-Star Concert Presented by Heineken®

The concert marks the culmination of exciting soccer celebrations for fans on Tuesday, Aug. 24. Concert doors open at 8 p.m. PT for fans 21 and older. The concert will take place rain or shine. Guests (ages 21 and older) can enter the The Torch, located at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum through Gate 1.

TRANSPORTATION

Guests are encouraged to use public transportation and should arrive early to enjoy activities and avoid any traffic or parking delays. BAG POLICY & PROHIBITED ITEMS To ensure public safety and security at the concert, all attendees are subject to search, and prohibited items may not be abandoned at security checkpoints. Please allow adequate time to pass through security checkpoints before activities begin. The Coliseum prohibits bags, backpacks, and other containers from entering the venue, with the following exceptions:

One bag that is clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and does not exceed 12" by 6" by 12", or;

A one-gallon clear plastic storage bag (Ziploc bag or similar).

In addition to one of the clear bags noted above, guests may also carry in a small clutch bag or purse approximately the size of a hand, with or without a handle or strap.
