Rome Emperors News Release
Rome, GA - The Rome Braves invite humans and hounds alike to join us at State Mutual Stadium for the Bark in the Park game this Sunday May 27th. This season the Rome Braves are partnering with Claws for Paws to help the homeless pets of Rome and Floyd County. All of the money raised by Claws for Paws goes directly back to animal rescue efforts in the local community.
The fun begins at 2pm but you can register today. There will be a 1.3 mile Dog Walk around State Mutual Stadium followed by pet contests, a Frisbee Dog Demo and stop by the Flealess Market throughout the day. Then bring your dog into the ballpark and cheer on the Rome Braves for the 5pm game.
The Bark in the Park event along with the festivities and t-shirt is only $20! If you are just interested in coming to the game with your dog you can purchase tickets at Gate six the day of the game for $10. For more information please call 706-378-5100.
