
Rogelstad Headed To Olympics

Harrisburg, PA - Harrisburg Senators INF Matt Rogelstad was moved to the temporary inactive list as he prepares to head to Beijing, China for the Summer Olympics. Rogelstad is a member of the Canadian Olympic team. INF Marco Yepez was activated from the disabled list.
Rogelstad is batting .311 in 14 games with the Senators since being promoted from single-A Potomac on July 8th. He has previously played with Team Canada in the 2006 World Baseball Classic and in three separate Olympic qualifying tournaments.
Yepez has been on the disabled list since July 21st with a strained groin. He is batting .252 in 53 games with the Senators this season. He's one of just six Senators on the team since opening day.
The Senators homestand continues tonight through Thursday afternoon with games against the Reading Phillies. Harrisburg is currently sitting in third place in the Southern Division of the Eastern League, one game behind the Bowie Baysox.
